“Las Horas Despiertas” is the continuation of Kostaldeko Bizitza, a work that once again speaks to us in multiple languages. This second exhibition by Atelier Sola is set in a vital moment where artistic creation coexists with parenthood. Las Horas Despiertas are those moments stolen from sleep, rest, or routine—times when one can still create despite fatigue. They are fragmented yet fertile times, where the creative impulse adapts to a new rhythm: intimate, shared, and profoundly transformative.
Visual artists Ainhoa de Sola and Jon Solaun Yagüe, known as Jon Sola, engage in dialogue as both partners and creators. The experience of raising children—both in parallel and in collaboration—becomes creative material itself. In this new stage, color takes on a leading role: as emotion, as intuition, and as an expression of an inner landscape that has become more alive, more urgent, and more free.
Jon Sola continues to explore the line connecting sea and land as a symbol of human duality, while Ainhoa de Sola transforms ceramic forms into volumes that breathe and converse with that line. The balance between these two artistic languages gives rise to an installation that reflects on care, interrupted creation, presence, motherhood, and shared love.

Context
"Las Horas Despiertas" es la continuación de Kostaldeko Bizitza, una obra que vuelve a hablarnos en lenguajes múltiples. Esta segunda muestra de Atelier Sola se sitúa en un tiempo vital en el que la creación artística convive con la crianza. Las “horas despiertas” son esos momentos robados al sueño, al descanso o a la rutina, donde aún se puede seguir creando pese al cansancio. Son tiempos fragmentados pero fértiles, donde el impulso creativo se adapta a un nuevo ritmo: íntimo, compartido y profundamente transformador.
Los artistas visuales Ainhoa de Sola y Jon Solaun Yagüe, conocido como Jon Sola, dialogan como pareja y creadores. La experiencia de criar en paralelo y en colaboración se convierte en materia de creación. En esta nueva etapa, el color cobra un papel protagonista: como emoción, como intuición y como expresión de un paisaje interno que se ha vuelto más vivo, más urgente y más libre.
Jon Sola continúa explorando la línea que une mar y tierra como símbolo de la dualidad del ser humano, mientras que Ainhoa de Sola transforma formas cerámicas en volúmenes que respiran y dialogan con ese trazo. El equilibrio entre ambos lenguajes genera una instalación que aborda temas como el cuidado, la creación interrumpida, la presencia, la maternidad y el amor compartido.
Las Horas Despiertas es una celebración de la vida en tránsito, donde el arte ocurre entre lo cotidiano, lo imprevisto y lo profundamente humano.
